Social Media Coordinator
About Bask & Lather Co.
Bask & Lather Co. is a fast-growing, family-founded haircare brand dedicated to restoring crowns and confidence. What began as a kitchen remedy has grown into one of the most recognized textured-hair brands in the United States, known for transformative products, authentic storytelling, and a deeply engaged community. We are building a social team that moves quickly, understands culture, creates consistently, and produces content that earns attention and drives action.

- Prepare filming environments and ensure appropriate lighting, framing, sound, styling, products, props, talent, and backgrounds.
- Direct employees, models, creators, customers, and other participants during content capture.
- Comfortably appear on camera, demonstrate products, provide voiceovers, participate in trends, and host social content when needed.
- Edit short-form videos using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, native platform tools, or similar software.
- Create and edit graphics, static posts, carousels, Stories, Reels, short-form videos, and other platform-native content.
- Add captions, graphics, sound, transitions, hooks, calls to action, and other creative elements that improve content performance.
- Repurpose footage into multiple versions, formats, hooks, and platform-specific edits.
Social Media Execution
- Collaborate with the Senior Social Media & Content Marketing Manager to execute and strengthen Bask & Lather’s online identity.
- Support content execution across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok Shop, and emerging platforms.
- Contribute ideas and observations that help inform the brand’s organic social and content strategy.
- Translate approved strategies, campaign plans, launches, promotions, and cultural moments into platform-native content.
- Draft captions, hooks, scripts, on-screen text, calls to action, and supporting social copy.
- Schedule and publish approved content accurately and on time.
- Adapt content for the audience, format, behavior, and technical requirements of each platform.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice, visual identity, tone, and quality standard across all channels.
- Conduct quality-control checks before publishing, including spelling, links, product names, pricing, claims, captions, and formatting.
- Monitor platform updates, emerging formats, beauty conversations, textured-hair trends, competitors, and relevant cultural moments.
- Proactively bring relevant, executable content ideas to the team, including why the concept fits Bask & Lather and how it should be produced.
- Livestream regularly, preparing products, talking points, demonstrations, equipment, and supporting materials before live sessions. Engage with the audience in real time while maintaining Bask & Lather’s brand voice and messaging standards. Monitor live comments and escalate customer-service concerns, product complaints, or sensitive issues appropriately. Review live performance and identify opportunities to improve future sessions.
