Social Media Coordinator

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Capture and create social media posts (videos, images, captions) across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Primary focus will be on Princeton Ballet School channels.
  • Assist in planning, implementing, and managing social media campaigns to achieve specific goals.
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and foster engagement with the audience.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of social media efforts and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated on the latest social media trends and best practices to inform content strategy.
  • Work with the Marketing Team to ensure brand consistency and contribute to overall marketing strategies.
  • Assist with general Marketing duties and contribute to the smooth functioning of the Marketing Team such as event listings, data entry, on-site Box Office and Event support, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in Social Media
  • A degree in the field of Marketing, Communications, Dance, Arts Non-Profit, or other relevant program
  • Detail knowledge of social media platforms and content creation, with primary focus on video capture and editing
  • Ability to create visually appealing content
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to track and analyze social media performance and identify trends
  • Knowledge of how social media marketing aligns with broader business goals
  • Highly organized to manage social media calendars, schedule posts, and track performance
  • Strong ethics in teamwork and collaboration to work effectively with other members of the Marketing Team and other departments
  • Knowledge and appreciation of dance is preferred, but not required
