Duties and Responsibilities
- Capture and create social media posts (videos, images, captions) across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Primary focus will be on Princeton Ballet School channels.
- Assist in planning, implementing, and managing social media campaigns to achieve specific goals.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and foster engagement with the audience.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of social media efforts and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on the latest social media trends and best practices to inform content strategy.
- Work with the Marketing Team to ensure brand consistency and contribute to overall marketing strategies.
- Assist with general Marketing duties and contribute to the smooth functioning of the Marketing Team such as event listings, data entry, on-site Box Office and Event support, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of professional experience in Social Media
- A degree in the field of Marketing, Communications, Dance, Arts Non-Profit, or other relevant program
- Detail knowledge of social media platforms and content creation, with primary focus on video capture and editing
- Ability to create visually appealing content
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to track and analyze social media performance and identify trends
- Knowledge of how social media marketing aligns with broader business goals
- Highly organized to manage social media calendars, schedule posts, and track performance
- Strong ethics in teamwork and collaboration to work effectively with other members of the Marketing Team and other departments
- Knowledge and appreciation of dance is preferred, but not required
