Social Media Content Creator (Contract)

Key Responsibilities

• On-Site Content Capture: Travel to client locations to capture high-quality photo and video content.
• Direct on-camera talent and scout diverse locations.
• Content Editing & Post-Production: Edit content into platform-optimized formats using tools like CapCut and Canva.
• Utilize AI-powered tools for captioning, color correction, and visual effects.
• Platform Optimization: Adapt content strategies for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Optimize for engagement, trending formats, and algorithm changes.
• Creative Collaboration: Review briefs, participate in planning calls, and deliver content that aligns with brand voice and client objectives.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in content creation, social media, or video production.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating social media content across multiple platforms and industries.
• Expertise in mobile and professional content capture (smartphones, DSLRs, lighting, audio).
• Advanced proficiency in CapCut, Canva, and accessible editing tools.
• Experience with AI-powered editing tools (scripting, automated captions, generative fill, etc.).
• Deep understanding of social media platforms and their specific best practices.
• Ability to direct on-camera talent and create authentic performances.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple projects.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Southern California.
