About the role

This role offers hands-on experience across AV, lighting, staging, décor, and fabrication, with opportunities to develop technical skills and grow within our production team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, pull, and quality-check equipment
• Load trucks safely and efficiently
• Assist with on-site event installation, including AV, lighting, staging, décor, and more
• Operate live events (lighting, audio/video mixing, camera operation) with training provided
• Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness
• Follow direction provided from Project Managers and Team Leads
• Interact professionally with clients, vendors, and team members
• Support multiple Events By Design brands on-site

Qualifications

• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and organized
• Physically able to lift and move equipment 50+ lbs
• Comfortable working nights, weekends, and flexible hours as needed
• Team player who communicates professionally and takes initiative
• Excited to learn and grow in production, AV, and event logistics

Pay

Average Hourly Rate = $20/HR

Schedule

About the role

Responsibilities

• Set up event day details, including linens, décor, table numbers, place cards, menus, and Events By Design rentals/equipment
• Strike and organize client décor and personal belongings after events
• Assist with vendor arrivals, check-ins, and answering onsite questions
• Supervise third-party vendor staff performance during events
• Support the Lead Planner to ensure the event runs smoothly and the guest and client experience is of the highest quality
• Follow planning documents and event timelines to maintain consistency and accuracy

Qualifications

• Reliable, organized, and hands-on with a strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, physically active environments
• Available to work on weekends for events
• Enthusiastic about delivering a luxury client experience
