Join LittleStar as the Marketing Specialist and help support the neurodiverse community by using your creative skills to promote our mission of inclusive, high-quality care and advocacy.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with LittleStar's mission, strategic priorities, and communication goals.
- Write, design, schedule, and publish engaging social media content, including stories, photographs, graphics, short-form videos, employee features, program highlights, educational content, and event promotions.
- Maintain a consistent content calendar across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other appropriate channels.
- Monitor comments, messages, reviews, and community engagement, responding or escalating concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay informed about social media trends, platform updates, and emerging opportunities that could benefit LittleStar.
- Track social media performance and provide regular reports and recommendations based on engagement, reach, audience growth, and other relevant metrics.
- Identify and develop meaningful stories that demonstrate LittleStar’s impact on patients, families, employees, and communities.
- Interview employees, families, community partners, and other stakeholders to develop authentic and engaging content.
- Produce written, photographic, graphic, and video content for digital and print use.
- Ensure all stories and images are used with appropriate authorization and in compliance with HIPAA, organizational policies, and applicable privacy requirements.
- Aid in developing and implementing marketing strategies for LittleStar's programs, services, events, fundraising initiatives, and community partnerships.
- Create marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, advertisements, presentations, signage, newsletters, digital graphics, and promotional items.
- Support marketing efforts designed to increase program awareness, patient referrals, employee recruitment, community engagement, and philanthropic support.
- Coordinate with vendors, printers, photographers, videographers, and other external partners as needed.
- Assist with maintaining and updating website content to ensure information is timely, accurate, accessible, and aligned with LittleStar's brand.
- Partner with Human Resources to create recruitment marketing campaigns that communicate LittleStar's culture, employment opportunities, and employee experience.
- Develop employee spotlights, workplace culture content, recognition posts, and other materials that strengthen employee engagement and recruitment.
- Provide marketing and communications support for fundraising events, community outreach activities, conferences, employee events, and program initiatives.
- Develop event-related social media content, invitations, signage, presentations, sponsorship materials, and promotional campaigns.
- Attend selected LittleStar activities and events to capture photographs, video, interviews, and real-time social media content.
- Maintain organized records of projects, approvals, consent forms, vendor relationships, and marketing materials.
- Aid in managing marketing-related expenses within established budgets.
- Perform other duties that support LittleStar's mission and organizational priorities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Energetic, forward-thinking, and creative individual with high ethical standards, positive team player with a professional image.
- Previous experience in design software such as Canva, Adobe, or Vista.
- Create Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of Social Media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Strong organizational and time management skills along with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Good judgement and creative thinking skills.
- Discretion in matters that need to remain private, as well as HIPAA and PHIP.
- Possess a genuine passion for and understanding of the mission of LittleStar Centers, Inc.
- Able to work with a broad range of diverse stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Pay
$50,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with core office hours being 8:30 - 4:30 p.m., with availability for crisis and emergencies when needed. This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work.
