About The Role The Social Media & Marketing Coordinator is a hands-on, creative, and proactive member of the firm responsible for enhancing the firm’s marketing and brand visibility, online presence, and client engagement. This role requires someone who can independently identify opportunities to promote the firm, create and manage multimedia content, and bring fresh, innovative ideas to how the firm markets itself both to the public and to existing clients. The ideal candidate is a creative self-starter with a strong design, film editing and writing background, 2-3 years of experience in marketing or media, and the ability to take ownership of projects from concept to publication with minimal supervision. This role will first report directly to the firm Partners, with oversight from the Operations Lead for daily functions. You Will: Create and edit videos, graphics, and other marketing materials for use on social media, website, and client-facing communicationsCoordinate client video testimonials, including scheduling, filming, editing, and postingCapture and share firm events, office activities, and client milestonesManage social media content and posting schedules across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTokDevelop and maintain templates and visual assets that align with firm branding and partner preferencesResearch and coordinate media and publicity opportunities, such as best of workplace competitions and legal or business featuresLink firm articles, news mentions, and press releases to the website and ensure consistent updatesSupport internal marketing efforts, including client appreciation initiativesCollaborate with attorneys and staff to identify marketing moments, coordinate filming, and capture firm culturePartner with outside freelancers like videographers or photographers for larger projectsTrack marketing projects and ensure deadlines are met and escalate concerns when schedules or deliverables fall behind You Have: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Design, Media, or a related field2-3 years of experience in marketing, media production, or digital content creationStrong creative, writing, and storytelling skills with the ability to create engaging and professional contentExperience with video filming and editing, graphic design, and social media managementProficiency in tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or Final Cut ProStrong understanding of online marketing best practices and how to attract engagementExcellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environmentA proactive mindset: able to identify what’s needed and take initiative to get it doneThis role requires someone who can jump in, take ownership, and run with ideas.
