Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, planning, and execution of Maiden Home’s organic social channels, ensuring every touchpoint reinforces our position as a leading voice in luxury design.
  • Develop the social and editorial strategy behind Maiden Home’s key brand moments — translating product launches, craftsmanship stories, cultural partnerships, events, press, and community moments into compelling platform-first narratives.
  • Build the Founder’s personal social platform and strategy, transforming her creative vision, references, process, and expertise into a compelling platform that strengthens Maiden Home’s authority within the design community.
  • Spend dedicated time with the Founder to identify social opportunities, surface relevant moments and translate her perspective into content that builds visibility and influence.
  • Serve as the social strategy lead within the Brand team, identifying how Maiden Home’s brand narratives come to life across platforms, the audiences we engage, the communities we build, and how each platform grows brand authority.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Creative, PR, Product Design, Retail, Trade, and Sales teams to identify storytelling opportunities and bring them to life across digital channels.
  • Build repeatable editorial franchises and content formats across brand and founder social channels, creating consistency while allowing for real-time storytelling around key cultural and brand moments.
  • Develop relationships across the digital design ecosystem, including designers, architects, editors, creators, podcasts, and tastemakers who influence Maiden Home’s target audience.
  • Identify opportunities for Maiden Home and its Founder to participate in relevant cultural and design conversations across social-first channels and emerging platforms.
  • Capture and create elevated social-first content around behind-the-scenes moments, events, studio visits, travel, product development, and creative process.
  • Own social operations including content calendars, publishing, community engagement, performance analysis, insights, and optimization.

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of experience in social strategy, content strategy and community building.
  • Proven experience growing and evolving social platforms for brands, founders, creative leaders, tastemakers, or culturally influential voices.
  • Deep understanding of social platforms and how audiences engage with content today.
  • Exceptional visual taste and fluency in the worlds of design, interiors, architecture, art, fashion, luxury and culture.
  • Strong creative judgment with the ability to identify what feels culturally relevant, elevated and authentic to a brand.
  • Experience developing social-first content strategies that build brand perception, community and influence.
  • Ability to translate an established creative vision and brand point of view into a digital presence through content, curation and community.
  • Strong network instincts with an ability to identify the people, platforms, and conversations a brand should be connected to.
  • Comfortable working directly with founders, executives, or senior creative leaders.
  • Highly proactive, organized, and entrepreneurial — able to build structure, identify opportunities and move quickly.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across creative, PR, design and commercial teams.
