Social Content Producer

About the role

Content is a constantly changing “animal” at Marla Aaron Jewelry and, as the Social Content Producer, you will be on top of the latest trends and steer the brand toward best‑in‑class behaviors for a luxury brand. You will work closely with the CEO/Founder and Creative Director, acting as the gatekeeper for every piece of content that enters and exits the “vault.” You will produce and distribute jewelry, photo, video, and written content, ensuring it reaches the right hands and supports each department with the assets they need. You will also help disseminate content to the world—posting on social media, creating a throughline from social to the website, and equipping stores worldwide with the materials they need. Your primary goal will be to know this content inside and out, keeping a consistent pulse on what our audience enjoys, and ensuring every photo, video, and caption brings joy through our jewelry.

Responsibilities

• Concept, pitch, and produce brand‑aligned content ideas for Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.
• Embrace an iterative process with quick turnaround times, capture trending moments when appropriate, and maintain a clear, enthusiastic, and proactive approach to content development and execution across all channels.
• Identify ways to continuously drive engagement via brand discovery and awareness.
• Consistently monitor and report on performance across channels, offering recommendations, improvements, and new tests based on results.
• Assist in coordinating photo shoots, collaborating with a roster of freelance creatives.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to repurpose content for paid ads, the website, and other channels.
• Play an important role in the strategy of marketing plans surrounding product launches and brand initiatives.
• Assist the CEO and Creative Director on special and ad‑hoc projects.
• Act as an advocate for each department, ensuring appropriate assets exist and are deployed effectively.
• Disseminate content to stores worldwide, ensuring they have what they need to represent the brand in their markets.
• Maintain a consistent pulse on audience preferences to keep content fresh and engaging.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience managing social media accounts with 50k+ followers.
• Fluent editing skills in CapCut (desktop and mobile).
• Deep knowledge of the latest trends, aspect ratios, and details of TikTok and Instagram.
• Ability to scan the brand universe for compelling stories.
• Fast learner with rigorous attention to detail; owns mistakes and asks questions when unclear.
• Empathetic and able to put yourself in the customer’s shoes; finds the positive in negative situations.
• Strong communication skills across phone, email, text, social media, and in‑person interactions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and eager to learn new workflow technologies.
• Passion for organization (Marie Kondo style) and love for jewelry, fashion, and people.
• Willingness to take on tasks outside the core job description.

Pay

Salary range: $63,000 – $73,000.
