Social Commerce Sr Strategist
About the role

As the Social Commerce Senior Strategist, you will propel total sales and viewer growth by developing content strategies, curating and optimizing merchandise within content (show builds and VOD assets), and collaborating with teams such as Producers, Buyers, Programming, and Marketing.
This role is hybrid, requiring onsite presence at West Chester, PA several days per month (onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company). Candidates must reside in PA, DE, or NJ. Relocation assistance is not available.
Responsibilities
- Lead the commercialization of specific content projects by building an end-to-end vision encompassing data analysis, content ROI assessment, strategic planning, merchandise briefs, and process optimization.
- Develop a merchandise-driven content strategy to grow audience engagement and increase revenue, balancing sales-driven and entertainment-focused content while considering inventory availability, productivity, trends, external opportunities, and promotional activities.
- Manage timelines and releases for all item-specific content to ensure alignment with broader strategic goals and operational efficiency.
- Increase content optimization by leading efforts in content brainstorming, product selection, procurement, and visual merchandising strategies.
- Develop and test hypotheses for product placement and methodologies to create a scalable, repeatable strategy for content-product integration.
- Establish content and product planning strategies to diversify content and product mix, ensuring every product aligns with associated content for maximum engagement.
- Assess strategy performance by analyzing KPIs and adjusting tactics to maximize results and ensure continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the Data & Analytics team to develop comprehensive tools and dashboards providing real-time insights for tracking KPIs and refining strategies.
- Support enterprise goals by representing the team in meetings and innovating to improve trends and results.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience with corporate retail exposure, including a background in strategic brand management or planning roles (content or merchandising) and driving commercial outcomes.
- Demonstrated ownership and program management skills to influence teams and implement vision.
- Experience creating growth strategies and reacting to data to build a sustainable ecosystem.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
