About the Role

The incumbent will direct or assist in directing a competitive soccer program while meeting Utah High School Activities Association (UHSAA) requirements. The coach serves as both a mentor and positive role model for all students.

Responsibilities

• Build positive working relationships with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community.
• Develop young athletes while fostering a strong, positive, and competitive team culture that emphasizes good sportsmanship and academic excellence.
• Mentor, train, and educate athletes in soccer skills, techniques, and game strategies.
• Promote excellence and a winning culture on and off the field.
• Train student athletes in safety and injury prevention.
• Ensure compliance with UHSAA requirements and regulations.
• Maintain a program with strong traditions and collaborate with an involved community.

Requirements

• Cleared background check through Granite School District (cost covered by the district).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of required trainings and certifications, including:
  • Anti-bullying/hazing training
  • Concussion training
  • First Aid/CPR certification

Pay

Stipend only.
