About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Northville, MI. As the Senior HR Generalist, you will provide support to the Human Resources Manager in a fast-paced environment. This role involves effective administration of policies, procedures, guidelines, and benefits, as well as supporting employee relations, recruiting, and onboarding efforts.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, the onboarding process, and requirements for corporate functional groups.
• Implement policies, practices, and procedures necessary for the well-being of the company and its team members.
• Administer the company’s benefits plans by presenting and interpreting benefits programs to all salaried employees.
• Create and prepare HR reports as requested for headcount, AAP reports, Merit and AIP audit reports, including acting as a key steward for data accuracy.
• Manage the offboarding process.
• Assist with the coordination of the company training program, including recognition of training needs, development of materials, and delivery of training.
• Plan and prepare succession planning with Human Resources Managers for the salaried staff.
• Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports as required.
• Analyze HR data to identify trends and recommend proactive solutions to enhance HR programs and practices.
• Conduct wage and salary administration programs.
• Develop and maintain procedures and programs for providing employee services to promote and maintain a high level of employee morale.
• Responsible for continual improvement projects and reviews as they apply to the department.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Provide other support to the Management team as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
• 3 - 5 years of Human Resources experience in positions of increasing accountability.
• Solid understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Highly proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
• Detailed-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis with large datasets, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Ability to work in a high-paced corporate environment.
• Ability to work onsite in Northville, MI.
