Snr. Commissions Analyst (Remote)

Commission Analyst is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate calculation of commission. This individual will work alongside the Commissions Manager to ensure that employee commission plans are properly created, maintained and updated accordingly in the commission system and will be charged with the creation, review, analysis and validation of monthly reports for all commissions accrued and paid. Responsibilities Calculate monthly accrued commissions and commissions paid within month end close deadlinesUpdate the organization’s commission system with employee changes and commission plan changes on an ongoing basisDevelop and test new commission plans in the organization’s commission systemWork with our commission system’s personnel to troubleshoot issuesEnsure accurate responses to inquiries or concerns related to commission and incentives are provided to employees Review commission payment reports for accuracy and completenessEnsure accurate and timely commission payouts Prepare commission expense reports, presentations and recommendations for sales and/or finance management as needed Actively respond to new system changes needed Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Math, Computer Science, Statistics, Accounting or related field preferredA minimum of 2 years commission/payroll experience (or combination payroll and HR)SQL training and some familiarity with general Database functions a plusExperience with Xactly Incent Commission System preferredExperience with Gmail and Google DocsExperience with MS Office (Word and Excel, including pivot tables)Strong verbal and written communicationsExcellent time management and organization skillsSuperior Excel skillsAbility to work in a team on projects and independentlyStrong math and numeracy skillsCustomer service and etiquette skillsDiscretion involving personal and legal matters The base pay for this position ranges from $80,000 - $90,000, which will vary depending on how well an applicant's skills and experience align with the job description listed above.
