Qualifications
- Ability to ski/ride groomed blue terrain comfortably and under control or willing to learn!
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English
- Ability to work with diverse age groups and skill levels
- Enthusiastic, patient, and adaptable
- Willing to work in various types of inclement weather.
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Able to pass a background check
- Own and maintain up-to-date skiing/snowboarding equipment
Job Responsibilities
- Teach skiing and/or snowboarding to groups and individuals, creating a safe and fun learning environment through effective class handling and creative instruction
- Understand, adhere to, and educate guests on the Responsibility Code and Skier Safety Act
- Work with guests of all ages, with a focus on children
- Provide guest experiences that inspire and creates lifelong skiers and riders
- Continuously improve teaching, technical, and skiing/snowboarding skills by participating in developmental training
- Ten-to-twelve-week commitment including pre-lesson training (depending on experience)
