Snow Sports Sales

About the role

Snow Sports Sales $17 to $19 / hr based on experience. Full time mid December to early March, typically 35 to 40 hours per week. Part time early December to mid December and early March to late March, typically 15 - 20 hours per week. Opportunity to grow into a year-round position with Berkshire East.

Responsibilities

• Inform customers about lesson and program offerings
• Know the resort's products, prices, hours and availability.
• Know discounts, special pricing, or other marketing promotions.
• Answer phones, retrieve voice messages and return calls.
• Respond to emails directed to Snow Sports.
• Handle guest complaints in a professional and diplomatic way.
• Direct guests & visitors to the appropriate location or staff when required.
• Make reservations, collect payment, and send confirmations.
• Check in guests for snow sport lessons.
• Sell ski and snowboard related products & services (tickets, rentals, lessons).
• Process cash, credit & gift card transactions accurately & efficiently.
• Manage the till, count, start cash and prepare nightly deposit bags.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.
• Reports to Snow Sports(SS) Director, SS Assistant Director and SS Admin Manager.

Requirements

• Skilled in providing excellent customer service.
• Specialist knowledge of lesson options and snow sports activities.
• Computer savvy, able to quickly learn sales and reservation programs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, friendly and helpful disposition.
• Outstanding communication skills in person and on the phone.
• Neat and professional appearance; portray a positive company image.
• Able to count cash and perform simple mathematical functions.

Pay

$17 to $19 / hr based on experience.
