Position Responsibilities
- Possess strong math skills.
- Manage ones time effectively with little supervision.
- Practice excellent customer service skills.
- Manage existing customer base with excellent customer service.
- Understand and advise customers on products and services.
- Maintain good relationships with valued vendors.
- Sell building materials to contractors.
- Prospect for new accounts through cold calling, provide leads and networking.
- Meet and exceed pre-determined sales goals.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Strong presentation, negotiation and closing skills.
Required Experience
- Two years of Industry (or) Industry-related experience in Home Building or Remodeling.
- At least two years of outside sales (preferably in the building material distribution industry).
Qualifications
Maintain a current and valid state issued driver's license.
