About the role
Join a snow crew clearing sidewalks and lots through the storm, earn strong seasonal pay with no experience needed, and build toward year-round work.
Responsibilities
- Clear sidewalks, entrances, and driveways by shoveling, snow-blowing, and salting alongside your crew the moment a storm hits.
- Keep properties open and passable so people can get where they need to go through the worst of winter.
- Follow your crew lead’s plan, hitting the priority sites first and moving fast to clear the whole route.
- Work through the storm, handling long shifts in cold and snow with a crew that pushes through together.
- Take care of the gear, keeping shovels, blowers, and spreaders ready to go.
Requirements
- A strong work ethic and the reliability to show up when the snow does.
- No experience required; training provided on tools and routes.
- Physical stamina to shovel, salt, and snow-blow for extended periods outdoors in cold, snow, and ice.
- A valid driver’s license is a plus, but not required.
Schedule
- Seasonal winter role (roughly November through April) with on-call storm response: nights, weekends, holidays, and long shifts when snow hits.
