Snow Removal: Crew Leader (Seasonal)

Responsibilities

• Remove snow safely and efficiently from commercial properties including but not limited to multi-family locations, parking lots, and the exteriors of high-trafficked facilities by operating a Plow Truck.
• Oversee and supervise a team to clear roadways, loading areas, docks, parking lots, among others in winter conditions including snow, snow/rain mix, extreme weather, and temperatures.
• Supervise a team to create a safe pathway for the public, pedestrians, and traffic during snow season.
• Report to assigned branch or location within the given time frame.
• Be on call during the winter months for all snow and ice events.
• May assist during a snow and ice event by operating other snow or salt-spreading equipment.
• Ensure work is conducted in a safe manner and maintains work areas safe for the employee, the customer, public, and the environment.
• Perform at a high and safe level of productivity.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience supervising a team in snow site removal.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Pass driver’s background check.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Able to work outdoors in different weather conditions.
• Able to be on call 24/7 during winter season months.
• Able to handle the physical demands of the position.
• Be punctual and reliable.
• Trainable, coachable, and able to grasp new concepts quickly.
• Accountability to themselves and to their team.
• Be someone others want to work with.
