About the role

Provide instructional services necessary to educate all students to high standards that align with district state and federal requirements guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district and state standards.
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Instruct students in assigned grade levels and/or subject areas.
  • Evaluate student performance through various assessments.
  • Collaborate with other educators and support staff to enhance educational outcomes.

Requirements

  • Valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas OR eligibility to obtain an alternative teaching credential.
  • Knowledge of effective practices including principles, theories, procedures, and techniques used in lesson plan development and classroom instruction.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas OR be eligible to obtain an alternative teaching credential.
