Responsibilities
- Assemble printed circuit boards by setting-up and operating SMT and/or Conformal Coating machines.
- Perform manual inspection of the boards to ensure that they are within specification.
- Program SMT and/or Conformal Coating Machines using CAD software.
- Program also requires knowledge of machine functions in relation to board layout and flow of material.
- Troubleshoot and debug errors within programs and machines.
- Run prototype boards/programs for engineering (red folder) jobs.
- Complete and maintain relevant paperwork and input information in computer system.
Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency in soldering.
- Strong manual dexterity for use of tools and performing work on small components requiring fine finger manipulation and hand steadiness.
- Ability to:
- Program SMT and/or Conformal Coating Machines using CAD software.
- Read and understand drawings, work instructions and test procedures.
- Perform standard software operations including Excel and SAP.
- Identify various electronic components.
- Infrequently lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 pounds without assistance.
- Regularly perform work that requires magnification.
- Concentrate for prolonged periods of time.
- Stand for prolonged periods of time, frequently in a stationary position.
- Work in a team environment and effectively communicate with various levels within the organization including training of new associates.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Prioritize and organize work.
- Wear ANSI Z87 approved safety glasses and other PPE as required per Job Safety Analysis.
- Willingness to work on various product groups and work flexible shifts.
Qualifications
- Education and Experience Requirements: Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent.
- Minimum 12 months previous electronics manufacturing or other related experience.
- Experience Preferred: Computer Programming training.
- Minimum of 12 months experience working in the Boardroom assembling PCBs.
- Previous experience with fluidics and robotics.
