SMT/PCBA Technician

About the role

The SMT/PCBA Technician is responsible for assembling printed circuit boards using surface mount technology and through-hole technology. This includes soldering components, testing boards, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Solder components onto printed circuit boards using surface mount and through-hole techniques.
• Test assembled boards for functionality and accuracy.
• Follow quality control procedures to ensure product meets specifications.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, meeting production deadlines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in electronics assembly or related field.
• Basic knowledge of SMT and PCB assembly processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Skills

• Proficiency in using SMT equipment.
• Knowledge of IPC standards and quality assurance practices.
• Basic understanding of electrical schematics and component identification.

Pay

• $18.00 - $22.00 per hour.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
