Smoke House Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate smokehouses and other equipment according to SOP and SQF standards and policies
• Ensure smoke houses are running safely and efficiently and producing the finest smoked and cooked products
• Work according to all company SQF policies and procedures
• Ensure quality of products including maintaining proper temperature, humidity, smoking, and products color

Qualifications

• Follow directions and be a team player
• Be able to learn on sight
• Physical Demands: Must be able to lift, pull, and push up to 30lbs, operate equipment and work near moving machinery, be on feet for up to 8-10 hours, have fine motor and motor skill abilities (pinching, grasping, etc.), ability to squat, bend, twist, kneel, reach, stand, walk, and climb frequently and as needed, and adapt to climate variation
