About the role

Bilinski's Sausage Mfg. Co. is seeking an Assistant Smokehouse Operator for our fully cooked chicken sausage manufacturing operation in Cohoes, NY.

Responsibilities

• Roll large carts of hanging sausages (weighing ~500 lbs) into and out of our Kitchen & Processing Areas
• Track and record oven cook times and temperatures
• Track and record chill down time and temperatures
• Rotate racks of product efficiently to keep pace with our assembly and production lines
• Coordinate with the room supervisor on the schedule for the day
• Clean and inspect the Kitchen and Smokehouse areas before and after daily production
• Ability to fill in other key positions (such as spice blending) as needed

Requirements

• Ability to work in both hot and cold conditions

NOTE: We have a no facial hair policy and no jewelry policy for all production and warehouse positions.

Pay

Starting at $20.00 per hour (plus $1.00 Shift Differential for 2nd Shift ONLY). Pay is weekly.

Schedule

2nd SHIFT - Mon. - Fri. 2:30pm to 11:30pm or until finished with mandatory overtime as daily schedule requires.
