SME - Systems Integrator

About the role

VTG is seeking a detail‑oriented Systems Integrator specializing in the lifecycle management of Digital Access Control Policies. The role requires deep expertise in translating legal and security mandates into actionable technical workflows within IAM ecosystems, streamlining attribute‑based access controls (ABAC) and dynamic policy engines, and auditing certified data repositories. The focus is on supporting “least‑privileged” environments that satisfy rigorous internal audits and external regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Translate existing digital policies and governance actions into operational processes aligned to existing technical solutions, providing clear recommendations internally and externally.
• Collaborate with Mission Partners, Data Stewards, and Steward Representatives to interpret digital policy requests and convert them into high‑level, implementable requirements using existing tools and platforms.
• Guide service teams in digital policy oversight, implementing Just‑In‑Time (JIT) access policies to data objects that grant access only when specific, pre‑approved conditions are met.
• Apply AI techniques for data and policy components, enhancing current solutions and workflows (e.g., anomaly detection, policy application).
• Create and maintain metrics, dashboards, and reporting to track governance and overall policy performance and compliance.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• B.S. degree in STEM or a related field and 12+ years of relevant experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Knowledge of IdAM/ICAM delivery systems, authentication, authorizations, and attribute architectures.
• Familiarity with data and governance principles, compliance, and metadata management.
• Strong critical‑thinking ability to balance technical solutions with policy and compliance needs.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical insights to policy and mission partners.
