Responsibilities
- Lead Smart Factory Transformation
- Assess manufacturing sites to identify automation, digitalization, and operational technology opportunities.
- Develop and execute a multi-year smart manufacturing roadmap aligned to business objectives.
- Drive the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies that improve productivity, quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
- Build Enterprise Standards
- Define scalable standards for automation, industrial connectivity, data architecture, and digital manufacturing systems.
- Create best practices for controls, industrial networks, system integration, and OT cybersecurity.
- Create repeatable deployment models that can be leveraged across multiple facilities.
- Deliver High-Impact Solutions
- Lead implementation of automation and digital manufacturing initiatives from concept through deployment.
- Partner with plant teams, IT/OT resources, and external vendors to deliver innovative solutions.
- Support technologies such as PLCs, SCADA/HMI, MES, CMMS, IIoT platforms, industrial analytics, and material handling automation.
- Enable Data-Driven Operations
- Improve manufacturing visibility through connected data and performance dashboards.
- Support predictive maintenance, asset reliability, and operational analytics initiatives.
- Leverage technology to drive continuous improvement and business performance.
- Support Enterprise Growth
- Assist with the integration of new manufacturing facilities and acquisitions.
- Conduct automation and digital maturity assessments during due diligence and onboarding activities.
- Develop integration playbooks and deployment standards that accelerate adoption and reduce implementation risk.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or related field) or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing automation, industrial engineering, operational technology, or smart manufacturing environments.
- Experience with industrial controls platforms such as Rockwell Automation, Siemens, or similar technologies.
- Experience supporting or implementing SCADA, HMI, MES, CMMS, IIoT, or industrial analytics solutions.
- Understanding of industrial networking, system integration, and OT cybersecurity principles.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders across operations and technology teams.
- Ability to travel 25–50%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in multi-site manufacturing environments.
- Experience with material handling automation, conveyors, AGVs, AMRs, or warehouse automation technologies.
- Experience developing enterprise standards, governance models, and deployment playbooks.
- Experience supporting facility integrations, acquisitions, or large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience.

Pay
$103,700.00 - $163,020.00 USD Actual compensation may vary based on various factors including experience, education, geographic location, and/or skills.
Schedule
This will be a hybrid role and will require the ability to travel 25–50%.
