SMART - Independent Sales Contractor

Responsibilities

• Build relationships within the community to educate families on pre-planning decisions
• Master appointment setting and deliver impactful pre-planning presentations
• Use proprietary software (Navigator) to complete contracts accurately and efficiently
• Monitor sales activities and performance metrics to identify strengths and areas for improvement
• Track contacts and ensure timely, professional follow-ups using Shape
• Prospect through cold calling, door knocking, mailers, seminars, and community events
• Provide exceptional customer service with a positive attitude and a commitment to doing “whatever it takes”
• Stay informed about veterans’ benefits, social security, and end-of-life decisions

Qualifications

• High energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficient in consultative selling techniques and building trust
• Capable of presenting effectively to groups
• Strong relationship-building skills within the community
• Basic mathematical skills
• Experience handling challenging situations with confidence and compassion
• Reliable transportation, a valid state driver’s license, and a satisfactory driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of direct or in-home sales experience
• 2+ years of public speaking and presentation experience

Pay

Commission-based pay with potential to earn $70,000 or more annually.
