About the role

We are Optimum, a leader in connectivity, and we're seeking Account Executives to join our team. As Account Executives, you will drive revenue by managing client accounts, building relationships, and closing deals. Your role involves prospecting, presenting products, managing accounts, and collaborating with various teams.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation
  • Qualify leads and schedule meetings or demos
  • Work assigned leads and turf
  • Sales Presentations & Negotiations
  • Create value based on client needs and wants
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close deals
  • Account Management
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients
  • Upsell or cross-sell additional products/services
  • Follow orders to completion including held orders, construction, changes needed from Account Managers
  • Pipeline & Forecasting
  • Manage CRM tools to track opportunities and progress
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management
  • Collaboration
  • Work closely with Operations, Customer Success, Retention, Account Managers, and Regional Sales Managers
  • Deliver seamless onboarding and exceptional post-sale client satisfaction to earn referrals

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with 2-4 years of college preferred
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of field-sales to Small/Medium Businesses
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivator with a knack for working independently
  • Proficient computer and technical skills
  • Reliable personal vehicle (where applicable), valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a satisfactory driving record
