Small Projects Maintenance Tech - Fargo

Job Duties

• Complete assigned service requests related to repairs and upkeep of properties.
• This includes areas of carpentry, flooring, drywall, cabinets and countertops, and other general small repairs.
• Recommending replacement or repair, as necessary.
• Ensure that all work completed is professional and clean after leaving our residents’ homes.
• Manage each individual portion of the project assigned from assignment to completion.
• Prepare open apartments for rental within 24 to 72 hours.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to build and maintain knowledge and skills to excel in the role.
• Perform seasonal maintenance repairs as listed on the Spring/Summer and Winter/Fall checklists failures as well as assist with City inspection generated work orders as necessary.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with residents and site offices/management by ensuring small project requests, questions, and concerns are addressed and responded to in a timely manner, along with making referrals to their supervisor, Regional Maintenance Manager, or property manager as appropriate.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Equivalent education with 3+ years’ related experience and/or training preferred.
• Good working knowledge of more complicated and time-consuming maintenance repairs.
• Some previous maintenance, electrical, plumbing, HVAC mechanical repair, light construction experience preferred.
• Must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record and meet company insurability requirements.

Pay

$25 per hour, with potential for increase based on experience.
