Small Parts RTM Operator

About the role

Responsible for ensuring production standards are maintained and work is done in an efficient and safe manner. Assists one or more co-workers by performing specific or general duties of lesser skill, such as keeping a work area supplied with material and tools, cleaning the work area, cleaning product, and assisting by holding materials or tools. Performs a variety of installation tasks during the manufacturing process, including placement of decals on boats, installation of parts, electrical wiring, cleaning, and detail work.

Responsibilities

• Use various types of air and hand tools
• Perform physical tasks including working overhead, stooping, bending, lifting up to 75 lbs., and pushing/pulling molds
• Work with solvents, resins, glue, sealers, cleaners, and different types of fiberglass
• Follow production requirements and safe work practices
• Read and comprehend instructions

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Apprenticeship or Associate Degree (preferred)
• One year of experience (preferred but not required)

• Knowledge of production requirements and safe work practices
• Written and oral communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
