About the role
An RTI Machine Operator is responsible for safely operating manufacturing equipment, producing quality products that meet company standards, and supporting efficient production operations. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment according to standard operating procedures.
- Set up, adjust, and monitor equipment during production.
- Perform basic machine troubleshooting and notify maintenance when needed.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process.
- Label, package, and prepare finished products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements.
- Assist with changeovers, material handling, and line startups.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
The following technical skills are required:
- Operate production machinery
- Read work instructions and production schedules
- Perform basic equipment adjustments
- Use measuring devices (tape measure, calipers, Vernier, etc.)
- Complete production paperwork
- Forklift certification or ability to become certified

Qualifications
Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. Equipment operation experience is a plus.

- Stand/walk for extended periods
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Push, pull, bend, twist, and reach
- Wear required PPE
