Small Engine Technician

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing small engines in various settings including residential, commercial, and industrial environments. This position requires troubleshooting engine issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring all work adheres to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair small engines such as lawn mowers, generators, and pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance on engines to prevent breakdowns.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations during all work activities.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and expectations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working with small engines.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of small engine components and operation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
