About the role

The role is located in Great Lakes BU, Region 07, Market 04 at 500 Route 3a, Bow, New Hampshire 03304. Availability is flexible.

Essential Duties

• Leadership and Management: Directs the activities of 2 or more full-time employees, recruits, hires, trains, and manages employees to ensure excellent customer service, maintain a clean, stocked, and organized store, and adhere to company standards.

• Store Relationships: Develops positive relationships with suppliers, resolves customer complaints, and promotes a safe, positive public image in the community.

• Training and Development: Prepares and provides performance appraisals, trains employees on customer service, safety, and cash awareness, and ensures all required training is completed.

• Communications: Ensures timely communication with employees, conducts periodic meetings, and organizes store files and manuals.

• Evaluating and Developing Action Plans: Evaluates store needs, creates action plans to achieve objectives, and oversees employee reports and merchandise display.

• Financial: Analyzes daily sales and expenses, budgets and forecasts profit and loss statements, manages merchandise margins, and ensures accurate financial reporting.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years of retail experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to supervise and train employees in various roles.

• Computer skills necessary for store operations.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Open availability.

• Effective oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform manual labor.

• Certified Food Server and Food Safety Management.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum of 50 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.

• Exposure to cold and warm temperatures, occasional noise, and occasional lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to work independently and follow directions.
