SLTech Faculty Automation Electronics

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field and minimum of Four (4) years industry experience related to electronics, instrumentation and/or automation.
• or
• Technical certificate or associate degree from an accredited institution in a related field and minimum of Six (6) years industry experience related to electronics, instrumentation and/or automation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Instructional experience in a technical discipline at the high school or college level
• Related industry experience in the field of Electronics, Instrumentation and/or Automation/Controls
• Exceptional hands-on skills with robotics, PLCs, circuits, and instruments
• Industry Certifications in any related areas: IPC, ETA-I, ISA, etc.

Important Information (Legal & Hiring Requirements)

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• All Faculty will maintain an on-site campus presence to encourage in-person relationships and create engaging, meaningful, and impactful learning experiences.
• All SLCC employees must maintain permanent residence/address within the State of Utah to maintain employment.
• A permanent Utah address must be recorded to Human Resources within 30-days of your employment start date.
• Must maintain professional boundaries with students.
