About the role
We are seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support communication development in a school setting.
Responsibilities
- Implementing speech and language treatment plans created by an SLP
- Providing direct therapy services to students
- Assisting with screening students' communication skills
- Documenting and reporting on progress and therapy sessions
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and staff to support student success
- Participating in team meetings and offering input on student needs
Requirements
- Valid state license as an SLPA
- Previous experience in schools is advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Enthusiastic about helping children reach their full potential
