You, Our Ideal Candidate
As a valued member of our in-house team, not a contracted service, you’re more than a therapist. You are a key support in the daily journey of our residents toward improved communication and connection. You bring empathy, strong communication skills, and a consultative mindset, working closely with residents, patients, and families to ensure everyone understands the care process and feels supported along the way.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat individuals experiencing speech, language, fluency, voice, or swallowing challenges
- Conduct assessments to determine communication and swallowing impairments
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans
- Lead individual or group treatment sessions focused on speech, language, or swallowing
- Educate patients and families on strategies for improved communication
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately
- Cookordinate administrative needs, including scheduling, billing, and care planning
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy program
- Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of Ohio
- 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
