Slots Gaming Technician

About the Role

Handles floor repair and preventative maintenance of all slot machines, including cleaning, overhauls, and initial setup of new machines. Ensures compliance with gaming regulations for all electrical and mechanical slot machine repairs and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on slot machines, including overhauls and cleaning.
• Assist in the initial setup and checkout of new slot machines.
• Support the Gaming Technician Supervisor in the breakdown, relocation, and reset of machines and stands.
• Assist floor staff in verifying jackpots and fills during system outages (manual mode).
• Ensure machine integrity during jackpots and other operational requests from management.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local, state, federal, and tribal gaming laws, regulations, and property internal controls.
• Report disputes and unusual guest activities to the shift manager.
• Deliver prompt, courteous, and efficient service to promote positive guest relations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Electronics degree preferred.
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
