Slot Technician - Slot Operations

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, convert, service, adjust and repair SLOT machines.
• Apply electrical theory and related knowledge to test, repair and maintain SLOT machines and related gaming equipment.
• Respond promptly to calls on the casino floor, diagnose causes of malfunctions and failures and take immediate appropriate action.
• Promote positive public/employee relations by providing friendly service to players and employees.
• Rebuild, overhaul, convert, adjust, calibrate, align and modify any slot machine and related gaming equipment.
• Obtain a working knowledge of various electronic and electro-mechanical equipment.
• Repair and reactivate malfunctioning and out-of-order machines with minimal effect to the operation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
• Perform all service requirements for SLOT machines included in the installation and relocation.
• Perform all essential duties for preventative maintenance.
• Demonstrate a commitment to responsible gaming and alcohol service by notifying appropriate managers of concerns and observations.
• Ensure prompt and discreet notification to managers and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year experience and/or training as an electronics technician responsible for maintenance and repair.
• Must hold a valid CER issued from NJ Gaming Enforcement or be able to obtain one.
