About the Role
Slot Technicians troubleshoot and repair improperly functioning slot machines to prevent downtime and revenue loss. They perform periodic maintenance, routine inspections, and service calls, ensuring machines operate correctly. Technicians also assist customers and personnel with technical questions and equipment handling.
Responsibilities
- Install, remove, convert, and prepare games; set options and repair games
- Install, remove, set options, and repair CVTs, safes, PT Systems, progressive systems, and ATMs
- Run and terminate Cat5e, Cat6a, and fiber cables
- Maintain accurate inventory of parts issued
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Perform cash-related transactions, including payment of hand pays and jackpots
- Document hand pays, jackpots, installations, MCUs, conversions, and machine repairs
- Follow documentation, policies, and procedures
- Perform tasks without supervision
- Maintain a positive image with co-workers and customers
- Educate customers on JETT-related equipment
- Work in a team-oriented environment
- Keep a log of repair work and drive a company vehicle within the slot route
Requirements
- 2 years of experience and previous cash handling experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid Nevada Driver’s License and clean/current DMV printout
- Must be able to attain Gaming Registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board
- Must be able to stoop, bend, and kneel frequently
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs
Training will be provided for the right candidate.
