Responsibilities

  • Administer department policies affecting slot play and payouts.
  • Ensure supplies are in sufficient quantities and readily accessible to slot associates; maintain a clean slot floor.
  • Respond to guest inquiries with a positive, clear speaking voice.
  • Troubleshoot guests’ concerns regarding data entered into the tracking system.
  • Answer questions and offer assistance to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Provide team members with clear direction on promotional procedures, tournament rules, times and locations, events on property, Title 31 procedures, guest service, and other relevant topics.
  • Train and monitor team members to ensure compliance with company guidelines and procedures.
  • Complete all required paperwork, including inventories, task boards, logs, shops, associate variances, team member reviews, call-ins/tardies, early outs, overtime, disciplinary actions, and departmental communications.
  • Complete PINs for issues and variances.
  • Record jackpots on MTL forms according to Title 31 procedures.
  • Verify taxable jackpots, manual jackpots, tax withheld jackpots, and disputes.
  • Provide backup support where needed.
  • Use Keywatcher and understand the purpose of all keys.
  • Monitor team member behavior, direct breaks, and job functions to ensure proper guest service.
  • Assign associates to work areas on road maps.
  • Make frequent contact with internal and external guests to provide optimal service, including coordination with various GSR departments.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.

Requirements

  • Basic computer knowledge to access/input information and read/respond to email.
  • Ability to learn and understand slot operating systems (Kronos – including Konetic mobile dispatch, HotSOS, Everi, and XChange Explorer).
  • Sufficient mathematical skills to verify jackpots, MTLs, disputes, etc.
  • Proficiency in complex reading, writing, math, and task completion.
  • Skills in coordination, supervising, instructing, precision working, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem-solving, independent judgment, and decision-making.
  • Flexibility to work all shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends as business needs dictate.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ slot operations and supervisory experience preferred, or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Ability to maintain appropriate Gaming License & Alcohol Awareness card.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently sitting, standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending over, crouching, kneeling, and balancing during the duration of their shift. Must be able to push/pull and lift/carry 75 lbs or less frequently. The team member will frequently have repetitive use of both feet and hands and require frequent light and firm/strong grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be frequently required. Constant use of vision abilities is required, including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.

Work Environment

Work is performed indoors, alone and frequently with and around others. The team member will engage in face-to-face interactions, including verbal contact with others on extended shifts around computer equipment, electrical devices, vibrations, and other mechanical devices. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. The team member may be exposed to odor and/or secondhand smoke.
