Sloane's Tavern Service Assistant (Busser) - part-time/seasonal

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Ensure that all server stations are properly stocked before, during, and after service
• Ensure that the dish station is properly set up with a dirty linen bag and recycle bin
• Provide initial water service to assigned tables
• The dining room is properly cleaned and set for each service period
• Guest tables are cleaned and reset in a timely manner
• Available tables are communicated to the greeter
• Server station is kept cleaned and stocked; this includes beverages, condiments, to-go items
• Assist in delivering food to guest tables; fulfill Food Runner assignment
• Actively pre-bus tables and provide water refills
• Polish and restock glassware and silver in down time
• Break down dining room at end of service
• Dispose of dirty linen and recycling from the dish station at end of shift

Qualifications

• Mid-day and Evenings shifts – Weekends a must
• Ability to work extended hours on your feet
• Ability to carry up to 25lbs at one time
• Interpersonal skills for genuine, fluid communication with guests and staff
• Availability must include weekends
