Slitting Operator

About the role

We're seeking a Slitter Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role operates high-speed slitter/rewind equipment and ensures that finished products meet quality and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Operate wide-web slitter/rewind equipment safely and efficiently
• Review job specs and ensure all materials are ready before setup
• Maintain product quality throughout the run (print, lamination, winding, defects)
• Label, pack, and document finished goods and scrap accurately
• Perform line clearance between jobs to prevent mix-ups
• Track production time and job activity in the system
• Perform basic maintenance, housekeeping, and equipment checks
• Communicate issues and work closely with team members to keep production moving

Requirements

• Manufacturing experience (slitting, laminating, or printing preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to follow work instructions
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
