Slitting Helper

We are seeking a dependable Slitting Helper for a direct hire opportunity in West Columbia, SC. This on-site manufacturing role supports daily slitting operations in a fast-paced environment with steady work, supportive team leadership, and opportunities to build valuable machine operation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily slitting line operations by following SOPs, work instructions, and product specifications.
• Load raw materials, unload finished products, and stage packaging materials according to production requirements.
• Cut corrugated cores to required widths and support machine changeovers, splicing, and setup activities.
• Perform in-line quality inspections using approved measuring devices and report equipment or measurement tool issues.
• Support operator-led preventive maintenance and help improve production flow, efficiency, and uptime.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all PPE, housekeeping, and safety requirements.

Pay

• Pay Rate: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
• Opportunity for overtime based on production needs
