Slitter Operator
Responsibilities
- Select clearance and tooling that will cut material per customer specs
- Install tooling onto machine and inspect for any scratches or abrasions
- Select and install correct take up arbor and if required guide rolls
- Inspect material before inserting machine to verify it meets the customer specs
- Inspect material as it is running for any imperfections
- Reinspect to make sure that nothing has changed after running
- Watch operation to ensure safety
- Adjust when necessary to ensure a good quality product
- Tape the coils and remove them from machine
- Pre-pack material for shipping
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred
- Minimum one-year manufacturing experience is preferred

This role is located in Warwick, RI and will be fully on-site.
