The Slitter Operator operates a slitter safely, efficiently, productively and produces a quality product in accordance with company and customer specifications. Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities Operate slitter machineLoading and unloading of rolls on a slitterInterpret and understand written information. (orders, SOP's, Lam. and print roll tickets etc.)Palletization ( building pallets of finished goods per customer specifications)Bagging of finished rollsEnter accurate information into computer and on production forms.Print out and attach accurate labels to finished rolls.Keep Machine and surrounding area safe and clean.Spot and determine visual defects.Cut out defects and splice together good material.Safely do all functions (i.e. lifting, cutting, etc.)Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
