SLICE HOUSE COUNTER ATTENDANT

About the Role

The Slice House Counter Attendant provides fast, friendly, and accurate service to guests at Graton Resort and Casino's Marketplace. This role involves taking orders, handling payments, preparing and serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and courteously; assist with menu selections and answer questions about food items.
• Take guest orders accurately and input them into the POS system.
• Handle cash, credit, and other payment transactions following established cash-handling procedures.
• Prepare, assemble, and serve food and beverage items according to company standards and recipes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked counter, service area, and dining area.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations, including proper food handling and temperature control.
• Restock supplies such as napkins, condiments, and utensils throughout the shift.
• Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties as directed by management.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management regarding food preparation and guest needs.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Adhere to all company, department, and safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout the shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management to meet business needs.
