Counter Attendant

Position Summary

The Counter Attendant is responsible for providing efficient, friendly service during cafeteria operations at Cafe 257 and Ember Kitchen. This role focuses on serving menu items accurately, maintaining presentation standards, and ensuring smooth guest flow during high-volume lunch service. The Counter Attendant plays an important role in delivering a consistent, professional experience for building tenants and guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests and serve beverage and food items accurately and efficiently
• Maintain strong knowledge of daily menu offerings
• Portion and plate food according to standards
• Operate POS system and process transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service line and counters
• Restock utensils, condiments, and grab-and-go items
• Communicate with kitchen team regarding product levels
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
