Sleep Technician - Polysom Tech I
About the role
The person in this role provides comprehensive diagnostic and treatment procedures within the space of the Sleep Lab while under the direction of the Ambulatory Manager and Medical Director. This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, patient care and education.

Requirements
- High School graduate or Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED)
- Currently enrolled or enrolled prior to start date in a sleep education program such as ASTEP
- ASTEP program to be completed within 6 months of hire
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council required
- RPSGT-Registered Polysomnographic Technician - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists within 2 Years required
Qualifications
- Basic computer skills
- Analytical skills necessary to resolve complex clinical problems relating to the integration of anatomy and physiology to sleep/wake pathology and patient safety and welfare
- Adequate time management skills
- Interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to interact with interdisciplinary health team members and consumers

Benefits
Full time: 3 – 12 hr shifts per week (0.9 FTE) Nights: 6:30 pm – 7:00 am Limited weekends No holidays
