Pivotal Health is seeking dedicated sleep professionals to join our growing team supporting Virtua Health Sleep Centers in Voorhees, NJ. About the role
This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced RPSGTs, RRTs, or CRTs to work overnight shifts (8:00 PM - 6:00 AM) in a respected sleep medicine team. Candidates with a current New Jersey license, temporary license, or eligibility to obtain licensure are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Review patient histories and physician orders.
- Explain testing procedures and ensure patient comfort.
- Prepare and calibrate sleep diagnostic equipment.
- Apply electrodes and sensors according to AASM standards.
- Verify proper function of monitoring and recording systems.
- Perform PAP mask fitting and troubleshooting.
- Conduct overnight polysomnographic studies.
- Monitor physiological data throughout testing.
- Identify and document respiratory, cardiac, neurologic, and sleep-related events.
- Maintain study quality and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
- Score sleep studies and clinical events.
- Analyze respiratory and cardiac episodes.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and records.
- Prepare study data for physician interpretation.
- Follow all sleep laboratory protocols and safety procedures.
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards.
- Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Polysomnography Program.
- Current RPSGT, RRT, or CRT credential.
- Current New Jersey licensure, temporary licensure, or eligibility for licensure.
- Current BLS/CPR Certification.
- Required immunizations and health clearances.
- Strong technical and patient-care skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous sleep laboratory experience.
- PAP titration experience.
- Sleep study scoring experience.
- Knowledge of AASM standards and best practices.
Skills
- Patient care and study preparation.

Pay
$40-$50 per hour, with additional compensation opportunities through productivity and scoring incentive programs.
