SLEEP SPECIALISTS - POLYSOMNOGRAPHIC TECHNICIAN - REXBURG

About the role

A Polysomnographic Technician performs comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis, and associated interventions under the general supervision of a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and/or the clinical director or designee.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis
• Prepare and calibrate equipment for testing to determine proper functioning and make adjustments if necessary
• Perform appropriate physiologic calibrations to ensure proper signals and to make adjustments if necessary
• Perform routine positive airway pressure (PAP) mask fitting
• Must have more than a basic knowledge of computer skills and become proficient with clinic software

Requirements

• Successful completion of a polysomnography program (A-Step) with certificate showing completion or a Respiratory Therapist License
• Must take and pass national board credentialing test within one year from date of hire

Qualifications
