Sleep Expert - Sales

About the role

The Sleep Expert position at Mattress Firm is a unique retail opportunity designed to help customers find their dream mattress and improve their sleep quality. This role requires a deep understanding of mattresses and a passion for customer service.

Responsibilities

• Elevate and enhance the customer’s in-store experience by being a trusted sleep authority.
• Execute Mattress Firm selling programs using digital tools and support a seamless omnichannel experience.
• Create an environment where the customer is always at the center by cultivating strong relationships.
• Provide technical and product knowledge information to customers and serve as a subject matter expert.
• Drive individual sales performance and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Demonstrate company values and support company initiatives.
• Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase (resolve customer issues, send delivery reminders, etc.).
• Leverage social media to positively impact brand awareness and increase sales.
• Be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50+ pounds.

Requirements

Preferred bilingual skills in Spanish. Must have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and possess a strong understanding of mattresses and sleep science.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
