As a Sleep Expert®, you’ll be at the heart of what we do: assisting customers in finding their dream mattress and improving their sleep. This role offers uncapped commissions and a 401(k) match, making it more than just a typical retail job.
The Sleep Expert will elevate and enhance the customer's in-store experience by being a trusted sleep authority and offering best-in-class products. You’ll execute Mattress Firm selling programs using digital tools and support a seamless omnichannel experience to create a compelling and engaging environment centered around the customer.
Responsibilities
- Create an environment where the customer is always at the center by cultivating strong relationships.
- Provide technical and product knowledge to customers and serve as a subject matter expert.
- Drive individual sales performance and KPIs while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives.
- Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase (resolve customer issues, send delivery reminders, etc.).
- Maintain awareness of the competition, advertisements, and services offered by competitors.
- Leverage social media to positively impact brand awareness and increase sales.
- Lift, push, or pull 50+ pounds.

Pay
Competitive pay range of $54,000–$66,000, depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities may be available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship is required. Proof of eligibility to work in the United States will be necessary.
